Packet Pickup

Boulderthon offers Early Packet Pickup (open to all) beginning Saturday, 10/1/22 through Thursday, 10/6/22 at Boulder Running Company (2775 Pearl St. Boulder, CO 80302) during their full normal hours, 10am-7pm.

Our Official Expo & Packet Pickup will take place on Pearl Street Mall between 13th and 15th, on Friday, 10/7/22 from 2pm - 6pm and Saturday, 10/8 - Sunday 8/9/22 from 8am - 4pm. On Saturday, 10/8, Registration on the Pearl Street Mall will open at 7am for the Saturday 5k.

We will have race day Packet Pickup available if you are unable to pick up before Race Day, but we HIGHLY recommend picking up ahead of time.

Getting There

​​All Half & Full Marathon runners must choose a transportation option (either Shuttle or Runner Drop Off Pass).

Shuttle Transportation is for the Half & Full Marathon only. Shuttles depart from Boulder High School beginning at 5am and transport Half & Full Marathon runners to the Start Line at the Boulder Reservoir.

Due to space restraints at Boulder Reservoir, all runners being dropped off at the Reservoir will require a Runner Drop Off Pass. No drop offs are allowed without a Pass. To obtain a Runner Drop Off Pass, choose a transportation option (passes are limited).

For the Kids Run, 5k, 10K: there are no Shuttle Passes or Runner Drop Off Passes. The Saturday Kids Run and 5k will start and finish in the same location on 15th & Pearl St. For our Sunday 10k, please drop off at Pleasant View Fields (no pass required).

Slots are limited and will be filled on a first-come, first-serve basis. Your preferred choice may not be available. Choose your transportation option now.

There is bike parking at the Boulder Reservoir. You are also welcome to walk/run. There will be no shuttles back to the Reservoir after the race.

Where Do I Park?

Where you are boarding our Shuttle at Boulder High School (limited parking is available at Boulder High School on Race Morning) or planning on cheering runners on Pearl between 15th and 17th, here are the BEST FREE GARAGES to park in on Boulderthon Race Weekend.

All Downtown Boulder Garages are FREE on weekends. All Downtown Boulder Street Parking is FREE on Sundays.

Gear Check

Your Goodie Bag is your Official Gear Check Bag.

Gear Check is available at the Start. Please bring your Official Gear Check Bag to the Start and safety pin your Gear Check Tear-Off at the bottom of your bib to the top of your Official Gear Check Bag.

We will transport anything you put in your Official Gear Check Bag to the Finish Area for you.

Please plan for chilly weather! Colorado can be chilly in October, with lows of 40 degrees in the morning. Plan on extra layers and check them into your Official Gear Check Bag. :)

After Party & Cheer Spots

Cheer runners on at the Finish! The First 250 spectators will get cowbells. Join the fun at Pearl & 15th St, including the first-of-its-kind finish at the famous Pearl Street Mall!

You can also cheer runners on throughout the course (see below for Course Map) at any of our Hydration Stations!

In addition, our Designated Cheer Stations will be:

  • Pearl Street Finish- Between 15th & 17th
  • Valmont City Park (on Multi-Use Path)

The Official After Party is at Avanti F+B at Pearl and 15th St.

    Shuttle Transportation is for the Half & Full Marathon only. All shuttle time slots arrive with ample time between the Half and Full Marathon Start at 8am. There is Gear Check at the start, so please bring extra layers! All items placed in Goody Bag / Gear Check bag will be transported to the finish.
